In the Pikmin series, the distinctive enemy, the bulborb (a bipedal frog-like creature with eyes on stalks), is often accompanied by what you might assume are its children. However, it has been discovered that these dwarf bulborbs are in fact a carnivorous type of breadbug (bread roll with a face - regular ones steal treasure but don't attack you). I took this mimicry literally and suggested the process by which the breadbug is disguised.
