sorry for the dumb questions, but how do you find out your friend code for the game. I am not seeing it anywhere. I checked update data and add friends.

nevermind, i forgot 3ds uses a slightly different system than ds. my friend code is 1848-3089-9356, if anyone wants to add me.

there no game FC, it is the 3DS FC,
just add the person to you 3ds Friends list
and in game pick add friends, if they have the game (abd setup the Friend stuff in game) they should be added to you list in game

Hi does anyone know how turn order is determine? I know in a traditional sense turn order is usually determine by who is the fastest. However I am not seeing that in this game. I am trying to get a Edea to go first but she usually goes last anyway to change that?

It's based on character's speed and action.
You can equip a skill (or item?) to boost speed of a single character, but it's also dependent on the action you are doing.
Using an item will spend less "action speed" and will result in that character playing first.

This is annoying that the action also determine the speed/turn, for example when you want to resurrect and heal the same character, but it ends healing another character first u__u

Bravely.Default has many text settings


in the menu(X button menu)
Tactics (bottom option)
config (bottom option)
in the config menu
3rd option (messages setting)
in messages setting
2nd option (text settings)
in text setting
2nd option (English)


the game has vo. in English and Japanese

when you start you game you get to pick you text settings and vo settings

This is exactly why I always have a spare BP on my support character...stuff like that doesnt happen when you rez someone and then the same character immediately follows up with a heal.

I'm close to finishing Norende. Two at level 11 and the others at 7 or 8. 40 villagers is a lot but not enough to quickly finish things

I'm not sure about holy light specifically, but a good strategy could be braving four times, choosing to send a strong attack to a friend, and using mimic (freelancer) the other three times. It doesn't cost MP, and I think all four attacks are sent to the friend.

So how in the world do you beat the true final boss without cheesing? Hes super easy until his final form rolls around and he wipes 3 of my dudes in one hit and stops the surviving member from acting. Its a pretty drastic difficulty spike compared to the other forms.

Looking around the internet, the only "strat" I can find is the 4 valk cheese setup. Everything else just says "he does a lot of damage, hard fight"

So this re-awakening the crystal rehash is getting tedious, I'm glad things finally changed alittle bit with chapter seven, but to have to do it again the next? What the fuck? Atleast it ties together a little bit but still, half tempted to just pass on beating the bosses again and stealing all that there is to steal
