Upgrade and downgrade for what? lol

The downgrade method is to get to the 9.2 CFW deadline... but you are already below it...

People in 9.3+ are the ones who update to 10.3 and then downgrade to 9.2.

Just use rxTools through the web browser, use FBI Injection to install sysupdater and update to 9.2 using Dev Mode.

Then install Menuhax + Ctrbootmanager, everything is in that guide.

It should be but you're missing out on the convenience of having Menuhax setup to coldboot into EmuNAND.
I want to give this to my little brother so I was looking to be able to coldboot to emunand. Its only possible on 9.2?

so its fine to have my sysnand on 6.0 instead of 9.2?

6.0 - you'll need to have an internet connection everytime you want to boot a CFW, if links go down you can't boot it until they are up again...

9.2 - Menuhax boots it for you automatically every time you turn on the console, no internet needed.

Thanks I see the part in the link on how to upgrade to 9.2 now to try it out.
