"The Xbox Live Arcade golden child that has been racking up a few 2008 award honors, Braid, will be making its way to the PC early next year.

According to the official website, Braid will be releasing to the PC between February and March 2009. Interestingly enough, the PC version was supposed to debut this past October, but was pushed back due to the huge amount of holiday blockbuster titles. Also, talk of a Mac and a PS3 version is out there, but only if "Sony is interested in the game." Take comfort, fanboys, we already have our Braid."

Great, I was looking out for this, and wondered why it had dropped off the PC map.
I've been hearing that's it's as innovative and interesting as Portal. Any game compared so fondly to Portal gets a play from me [IMG].

I think a small similarity can be drawn in which both games appear to be titles that have "stepped out of design box" in terms of deeply immersing the player with simple, fresh new gameplay mechanics and level design that truly work in conjunction.

But they are quite different in terms of genres and other things. I personally would pit them head-to-head like that.

    That's my opinion anyway.

Yeah, thanks for clarifying to others that's what I meant.
I wasn't drawing any comparison between the genres.
