This little app will let you switch bootmii on or off by renaming the bootmii folder ~bootmii or vice versa. If both a bootmii and ~bootmii folder is found it will switch them around. This is perfect for switching between Ceiling Cat and MiKe or cBoot2 or hopefuly something else soon.

It will also switch between a private and ~private folder.

New: HBC pack with icon by markehmus.

The source is also included if you must have a laugh at my expense.

Ceiling Cat is the frontend you get with BootMii. Mike is a linux kernel that runs on mini. It's a dol that doesn't touch nand, just renames folders on the SD. Very very simple but I find it usefull none the less.

hello...icant use wii-mote when i run hbc from bootmii plz help(i think my wii is bricked)

Boot into the system menu by either taking the SD out of the Wii, or press reset in the hbc, wait for the system menu to load up, then sync the Wii-Mote.

Or you can do this:

Get Bootmii configuration editor or manually edit it on your computer and edit it so it boots to the System Menu and has a boot delay of 0.

Then you can keep your SD card in.

Or rename the folder and undo it if you Wii is bricked or you wanna make a dump.

Get a gamecube controller for bootmii.

Have got a similar problem. Dont mean to hijack someone else's post but..............
If I leave SD card out it still comes up with the homebrew screen with an SD icon displyed and goes no further.
If I select exit, to go to the boring system menu, it just reloads Homebrew?
I just can not get the Wii start up screen any more.
Very strange, for the life of me cant see what i've done, any ideas?

have you installed preloader? - check the options in there.

I just rename the Bootmii folder to Bootmii1 with sdexplorer or WiiXplorer in the HBC after i backup my nand and if i want to make another backup I just reverse the process if my wii is bricked for some reason and can't boot HBC I just rename the folder on my PC or Laptop

pembo, yes I think I have. But when I try and access it from Homebrew it hangs for a bit says something about ios60 preloader already installed skipping sysmenu and goes straight back to homebrew?
Could I uninstall preloader to be able to get back to getting sysmenu up?

turn off wii, turn on and press and hold the reset button on the front to enter the preloader config screen.... then you'll see the options you're looking for.

I always deleted the bootmii folder after usage and put it back on when needed, so this is way better, thanks a lot!

Can't download, Mediafire says "Invalid File. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team.". Can this be reuploaded?
