I've just read quite a few comments like that the past couple of days.

I'll get BootMii once it releases in final form

just sent my info using bootmii checker hope this gets released soon.

i hope when this gets released we will soon be able to use our gc controllers on the system menu.

listen, bootmii will unlock the wii in such a way you havent seen before...
currently we are limited to the wii's os and can mod it and work arround it...
imagine a place where there will be no limits because we dont need to run
programs and homebrew through wii's limiting os... the possibilities are endless!

BOOTMII = WII's FULL POTENTIAL

it will enable homebrewers to fully utilize the Wii thats all

ex: custom oses, not the cssm and csms you see on this forum right now...
they just change a few graphics that the wii os is made of...
bootmii will allow for a hack in such a way that someone will create an os from scratch!

It definitely has a lot of potential - look at previous hacks eg, original xbox.

With something like krayzie ndure - you can boot discs (including backups) before the dashboard loads. Or, booting a custom dash, or the stock dash. It also dumped eeprom before starting the mod, so if things went really pear-shaped - you could rebuild the hard drive and start again.

This made for an extremely robust system (so long as the exploited savegame stayed on the system). And paved the way for fantastic homebrew - eg, XBMC.
