Hacking Bootmii and Cios Installer

When I do a backup for my wii with bootmii as boot2. Will it affect my wii in any way if cios installer or gamecube mios patcher or anything installed. I mean If it bricks, all the memory I had in the wii and the software installed from the web will be restored if I do restore mii? (Note: I do not know anything about this stuff so please do not criticize me.)

No it will not affect your wii. If yoiu backup your wii today, and you brick it 2 months from now and press restore, it will put everything back tot he way it was the day you backed it up.

Bootmii as boot2 launches before IOS, so if you brick your wii, a proper backup should mean you are safe from bricks. Backing up your nand doesnt affect anything you've installed. If you RESTORE, it will go to exactly the same way it was when you did the backup - this includes SAVED GAMES.
