Hacking boot9strap ntrboot help

my friend has new nintendo 3ds xl running 11.6.0-39u. I have updated my acekard 2i for ntrboot. And have downloaded the proper files and put them in the correct locations. I found the sweet spot but the 3ds wont boot into boot9strap. please help

Have you flashed your Acekard?

yeah i followed the guide. but just to be sure what do i have to do

I have redone the ntrboot flashing. and redownloaded the files and still nothing

yes i have flashed the acekard multiple times

Does your acekard have a microSD installed? Is "boot.firm" on the 3DS' SDcard root? Is it formatted to FAT32?

I've tried it with and without an sd card in the acekard 2i

You might try this. This will downgrade your n3ds to 11.5.xx. If you want the latest firmware you will have to update the n3ds.

What? How is that going to help at all?
Firstly and most importantly. He is trying to put B9S on his console. He can't use the above unless he already has it.
Secondly, being on 11.5 won't help anybody - to use SoundHax you have to be on 11.3 or less.

I dont know what the problem is i looked up multiple thing but i couldnt figure out what i was doing wrong.

Maybe you're having trouble with the buttons? Try holding down Start, Select, and X, then pressing the power button for only an instant.
