I've seen pics of the Wii with the blue light on and it looks awesome. Is there any easy way to turn the blue light on mine without having to bother to get someone to send me a message?

This looks like it'd be a software to turn the LEDs off and on, but it costs $20

My wii turn the blue off when I enter in message board even if I don't read any message.
so the "don't read your mail" don't work.

And it even stop the light when the Wii is powered on.

Same here.

That method does NOT work (AFAIK)

You have to add an email address to your address book. Then an email will be sent to that account explaining how it works, and when you answer to that email, the message magically pops up on your Wii.

I've got mine put on when I want it.

Just have your Wii send a message to your email address, then reply back. Your LED will go on and stay on until you open up the message you sent yourself.

Dunno about all this, just checking the messageboard in general stops it because it didn't for me.

Your blue light should have been shining this morning with the new forcast channel update. Woohoo! When I saw the blue light this morning it was like getting a gift from nintendo

Yea, when my brother woke up he woke me up because he thought there was something wrong with the Wii
