Hardware Blue light Disc drive?

How does that work? mine just flashes right after booting and never turns on again. Is that how it works? "DO" I have a defective unit?

Is there a setting or something?

The light only turns on when you load a disc and if you get a message from a friend/update from wiiconnect24

Is that how your Wii behave? hope someday Nintendo leaves this up to us. Also the different colors in the Power Led what do they mean? I could find any info in the manual...

mine is like that too.. i want that blue light to be on all the time,cuz it's cool

With the power LED red is standby, orange is Wii Connect 24 running, and green is on.
