    How does that work? mine just flashes right after booting and never turns on again. Is that how it works? "DO" I have a defective unit?

    The light only turns on when you load a disc and if you get a message from a friend/update from wiiconnect24

    Is that how your Wii behave? hope someday Nintendo leaves this up to us. Also the different colors in the Power Led what do they mean? I could find any info in the manual...

    mine is like that too.. i want that blue light to be on all the time,cuz it's cool

    With the power LED red is standby, orange is Wii Connect 24 running, and green is on.

    Don't wait for a firmware update. Make your own! That's how all use slot-2 users live! Flashed DS Firmware... Flashed Wii Firmware! Let's see how long this will take us.
