Could someone please help me? I have a black screen on my Switch, but I can hear the sound. When I put the Switch in the docking station, the image is displayed perfectly on the TV, but without the docking station, I only have a black screen. The problem occurred when I tried to boot Hekate. It didn’t work, so I decided to reset the console. After that, the problem started.
Please share some more details :
- do you have a modchip or are you using an 'old' Switch?
- how did you 'reset' the console?
- did you have Hekate working before or did you try installing Hekate and it didn't work?
If you remove the SD card and press vol + and - both while booting, do you see anything on the display?
If not, then maybe something in the hardware broke down (could be something simple as a loose connector).
It’s an old unpatched Switch. I’ve reset the console multiple times using power off, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1min, 2 min power off, volume up and down buttons, and factory settings—nothing has worked. When I put the Switch in the docking station and take it out, the screen shows for a brief moment but then immediately disappears again.I also don’t have any backlight or anything; it's really a completely black screen. But the touchscreen and Joy-Cons are working, and I can also hear input when I press buttons or use the touchscreen.

Here's what I've already done with the Switch: Well, I injected Hekate, and everything worked great. I then created an emuMMC in the boot menu. I was in CFW and wanted to install Tinfoil, which also worked fine. Then I started wondering why I could only use CFW in airplane mode. I wanted to change the host file and ended up deleting it, planning to use a code from GitHub
I then went back into RCM mode, injected Hekate, and the black screen immediately appeared after I clicked "inject." After that, I held the power button for 13 seconds, which booted me into OFW, where the black screen issue also occurred. Later, I discovered that everything worked perfectly in the docking station.
