Hopefully someone can help me:

I've installed a few wads and also uninstalled a few wads.
Months ago, before using emulators via the HBC, I bought two VC titles in the shop channel (Mario Bros. & Yoshi's Story), back then they worked perfectly. Today I wanted to play Mario Bros again, but when I start it I only get a black screen, same with Yoshi's Story. Then I tried to delete Mario and redownloaded it, didn't help. Also other games wich I "found" on the net didn't work.

so, my guess is that my little Wii is missing a wad, but I have NO IDEA wich one.

here's the output of title lister:

Code:
Found 84 titles:

Only thing weird I can spot in that is that NAHP (Yoshi's Story) runs on IOS21 and your IOS21 seems to be a CIOSCORP IOS.

...and FAGP (Super Mario Bros) runs on IOS17, and you have a modified version of that installed too.

Try installing an original IOS17 and IOS21 and then see if they work .

hm, you mean I should use anyTitleDeleter to uninstall them?

[EDIT]
Since I wasn't able to find the right IOS Diffusion suggested I'll make my Wii a "virgin" again - I think that would be the best solution, 'cause I also experienced crashes with some original games.
will report back...

Thanks for now

but now the problem is even weirder! when I start Super Mario Bros. the graphics are kinda messed up, but when I press the home button the background shows the right image, when pressing home again the screen goes black.

any ideas?

thx

I see you are from Austria (that means a PAL Wii right?)
I am guessing that you are using a Component cable. I had that problem too. the thing is that the first pal vc games couldn't display 576p/i with component cables. so there was a "compatibility mode", a button combination that was fixing this problem. I believe it was Z+A+1 (nunchuk+wiimote). You can search for it on gbatemp or on google.com it was a common problem.
I could search for you but I have to go to sleep, gotta wake up very early for work...
