Hacking Black screen problem

Hello all,

I've got a Wii with a d2ckey, and the USB loader as well.

Last night things have stopped working (my son ran some dance game via the USB loader). The Wii boots up ok, I can put a game disk in and start it, but always get a black screen once I click the start button.

I can also start the USB loader (which is installed as a channel), but again, the screen goes black and I need to restart the Wii.

I cannot find any threads with a similar problem, all of them seem to be related to a bricked Wii on startup.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to restore it?

I just tried running the homebrew channel, same black screen.

Next I clicked the little SD card icon, and the Wii thinks about things, then reports "the system files are corrupted".

Any ideas how to recover them?

Umm, did you have boot2 with a NAND backup?
