Hacking Black Screen Loadiine Problems

I am struggling to get just 3 games to work with loadiine. I was able to get many games to load without any problems, but Mario 3d world, donkey kong tropical freeze, and mario kart 8 don't work at all. I followed the instructions for loadiine word for word. I must be doing something right since many games load. I have tried at least 5 different dumps from different sites and the same results for all 3 games. I checked the compatibility list and followed everything there including not loading any updates. I tried 2 kinds of SD cards. On Donkey Kong and Mario Kart, the game loads and freezes about 2 seconds after the start up picture shows up on the gamepad and there is a weird buzzing sound like you would expect from a game freezing. Mario 3D world is just a black screen from the start. I tried loading older builds of loadiine with no luck. The only thing I can think of is that the compatibility list says it was tested with version .02 and I am using the latest .03. Or maybe every game I download has the update built in and the update isn't compatible. I don't own SSBU, so I can't try to load with that, only mii maker.

Please help, I have tried everything I can think of and search many corners of the web. Thank you.

De-fragmenting SD Cards is not a good idea. It just wastes the limited number of read/write cycles it can handle, thus making your SD Card die quicker. Depressing but true facts.

Thanks for the quick responses. I mainly tried a 16GB SDHC I Class 4 (C4) from SanDisk. The other one is a 4GB with all the same specs except it doesn't have the "I" after the SDHC. I don't care if I reduce the amount of read-write cycles as long as it doesn't decrease it by more than half or something.

Not sure I understand what you mean by the defrag won't come with contig.exe but will auto download. I guess I will give it a shot and see what happens.

If you think it won't decrease read-write by a whole lot, then I can try that defrag and if that doesn't work, I will try a few different SD cards.

I tried a different SD Card (SDHC I Ultra 10 8GB) and I also tried the defrag. I still keep getting the same issues of a black screen on Mario 3d World and I can see the Mario Kart 8 logo and then it freezes. Any other thoughts?

Loadiine was really great in its time, but it's time to move on to better things, OP. Look into the brazilian method for USB loading, and also you should get brain age DS vc game from the E-shop to hack it with haxchi. Use CFWbooter to install IOSUhax and play any VC or e-shop games from USB. DLCs also freely available for the games. It's time to read the other threads on gbatemp.
