But I forgot to add this on: He hasn't seen the inside of the BO Wii manual has he?
It directly states that DLC will be included, and Treyarch has followed their promise so far.
Regardless, he could simply say the 360, emoticons aren't necessarily required, just fun to use. And actually, that's untrue, Nintendo did updates on the Wii itself for a little while. Not anymore sadly.purplesludge said:I believe he is correct in that Nintendo won't release any dlc. Third parties have but I don't think Nintendo does. As for calling him a Sony fanboy the only logic is thebut there is no xbox version of that emote.
Just to be sure, where did you find your information that states Treyarch confirmed this? I'm not trying to contradict myself, but I need to see this. A link please would be dearly appreciated.Bat420maN said:I am just shocked that so many are misinformed about the Wii handling DLC. Black Ops has already had at least two Wii updates that I know of(don't play on Wii, might be more). The map pack is for sure coming to the Wii version, as it has already been confirmed by Treyarch/Activision.
@codmaster They have released tons of DLC in the form of songs for the guitar hero games, so I would really like to see where they confirmed they wont do it.
I love ninty myseft but the PS3 and PSP are pretty fuckin epic[KOS said:Ryushi]
Fanboy, but that's beside the point. And no I am not a troll. A troll, would be attacking members with unfair allegations, I was simply stating that, he was wrong. And went to tell him, his company is one of the biggest idiots out there, Sony lost so much money on the PS3 (feel free to correct me) and really Sony, may care just a tad about us. But their commercials gives the complete idea of them being completely ignorant, and incredibly cocky. But if I did make any offense of some sort: I do apologize.purplesludge said:Fanboy or troll?[KOS said:Ryushi]
You must be a Wii hater, then am I right? Nevermind, don't answer that question, it's painfully obvious you are. And, Sony sucks, they have copied Nintendo since they came into buisness. Remember the rumble-pack? Sony stole the idea from Nintendo and used it on their console (not precisely sure which, I believe it was PS2) and they copied the idea of Move from the Wii. And here's a fact for you:codmaster said:Joktan said:i heard somewhere but i cant remember exactly wherer but they said it will be releashed when all the others systems get it...like when the ps3 gets it...i think i saw it in a video..
There is no DLC for the Wii version of COD:Black ops
And this is CONFIRMED by Nintendo that they wont realese any DLC for a Wii game currently
So basiclly if you want DLC get a
Nintendo has been winning the war ever since 2008, and is still winning, Nintendo revolutionized gaming, even though they were not the first ones to start gaming, that credit goes to the makers of Atari. No matter how you look at it, Nintendo inevitably brought us into the new age of gaming through the Wii, and the N64. N64 had amazing games, and just were plain awesome, and considered one of the greatest consoles ever. The Wii was the one who brought us into the age of motion controls, and I will grant Sony they did use the idea of motion to some extent before Move, but this was just a add-on for the PS2 with the camera idea. But Nintendo beat them to cameras long ago. So please do not slander Nintendo for being a company that actually cares about gamers, and does the very best they can to satisfy us, and Nintendo is a brilliant company comprised of pure geniuses, in marketing, and just in general.

Still sick of Sony acting like they're better than everyone else. And if I remember right, the PSP is dead last, behind absolutely everything in sales.[KOS said:Ryushi]

You do realize you're missing the point right? Don't you remember Nintendo releasing certain maps from users that were sent into them? This shows the Wii is more than capable of handling all of this, and you're forgetting Conduit 2, that's also going to have map packs. Seriously, I can't believe people have already forgotten about that.Nintendo_Chick said:Anyways, there's alot of problems for dlc on the wii. On the ps3 and 360 it works like an operating system, when you load a game, the console still has control over the game On the wii once you load a game, it's on it's own. Even when you hit the home button it's all read from the game, you can edit it on the disc image. The only thing the system menu does is start the game/program, edit some files for the settings, and install IOS's. That means every game uses a different method of loading it's dlc which the developers have to come up with, which is like ford telling all it's workers carve a wooden steering wheel for every car, with out giving them any tools, dimensions, or any info at all.
The tiny nand is an obvious one. Of course the graphics aren't as good so the dlc wouldn't be as big, but the wii's entire nand is less than 1/3 the size of Red Dead Redemption's undead dlc.
But I think the only real problem is nintendo doesn't care. They must think it won't make them enough money to be worth it. I mean look at ssbb, if hackers can do that on their own with out an sdk or the source, nintendo should figure out a way to do it them self's.
I'm tired and noticing that I'm just rambling so now I will go to bed and just post this semi-random assortment of words because I typed too much to just delete it, even if it makes no sense.
