Target just cut the PSP 3000 to $129.99 ($40 drop). Looks permanent but I'm not totally certain. I wonder if this will force Nintendo to drop the price of the DS since it is also $129.99? Intriguing, to say the least!

I doubt it, the DS and PSP aren't in competition so much with the new generation imminent. At this point it's likely about Target trying to clear inventory. But that is a great price for anybody still needing to get into the PSP. $130 is a bargain for accessing a great library of games, and the PSP is the best system on the market right now for emulating the classics.

Amen to that. This makes the PSP worth $130 by itself.
 
No, the lesson here is you should stop being that guy who has to enter a thread just to point out that he saw it somewhere else.
