Is there any way I can make the touch screen more responsive and less buggy for the keyboard and the drawing tablet?

On the keyboard, I have problems where I touch a key and it doesn't respond because I was one pixel to the left/right of the key or one pixel above/below and not totally 100% exact. The shift button also deactivates if I touch a part of the screen that isn't a key.

And the drawing tablet really likes to not respond, be too small, and freak out and make only straight lines occasionally.


Edit) Shoot, I forgot to add to the placeholder title. It was supposed to be "Beup is buggy, can I fix this myself?"
