Well i need a decent video converter that can pretty much convert so and so to so and so, right now though i need to convert my .mov to anything windows movie maker can accept.

Thats what the thing is called. It can do anything. from .dpg->to anything practically.

SUPER...isn't really very good compared to programs that use external codecs

Video Cleaner Pro has worked really well to convert anything to WMV (for hd 380). It doesn't do 5.1 audio, but oh well.

I use DvdFab 5 you have to pay for it or not if you now how. it is good for backing up and converting original
DVD's.

it miscalculates everything so it takes 15 hrs to convert shrek 2, a 20MB youtube video goes up to 105mb!!!! WTF!!!

For the least hassle, get super but otherwise get something that uses external codecs like prism or winavi or anything else for that matter and manually download the codecs you want to utilize. Super is guaranteed to work every time, but at the cost of encoding speed and quality. I personally use both

edit: media coder is pretty nice

but prism encoded some of my arby n the chiefs without sound! super vids audio werent in-sync with the vid
