Hacking Best solution for hacking a Switch Lite nowadays?

I just bought a Switch Lite for my son for Christmas.
I didn't follow close enough the Switch (Lite) scene, and was wondering what were the best solutions for hacking it, since many methods are existing / evolving / vanishing.
Are they any guide as precise as these ones : https://cfw.guide/ ?

The only solution for hacking Switch Lite is by a modchip called SX LITE. There is no softmods that you can do to it. You can find SX Lite on aliexpress afaik.

i heard someone said don't update lite upper than 8.1.0. there is a exploit in this version but not leaking for anyone. just known by SciresM.
Maybe Hos 8.1.0 lite can be softmod hackable in future.

the only way to hack mariko switch is insert a sx core/lite modchip in your console so far

waiting atmosphere0.17.0 support mariko and you can also use a kind of payload named spacecraft to replace sx chip's firmware.

then the switch can power on under sx chip's but needn't sx boot.dat on sd card.

hekate 5.50 is supporting mariko console right now, just waiting for atmosphere 0.17.0 released. the spacecraft looks like sx gear's modchip version. but it's not official release.

It’s not enough to properly run Atmosphere though, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

See there are several issues with what he said. There is going to be a group of people who hold him to the 5 year deadline and complain if he doesn't release it within the allotted time. Then there is going to be another group of people who update then complain once said exploit is eventually released.

Of course games are overpriced on this console.

The worst example I found, is Ori port, which is 300% the price of steam version. Generally, it's only a 10~20% inflation, but still.

Then, some are OK with it, some aren't.
Besides, we are in 2021 and handhelds have evolved, NS remains a 2017 ARM tablet, people expect more for their bucks. There are more efficient ways to enjoy real gaming on the go.

I see your point, you are definitely right.
But do you really you think that people are free once they are in an ecosystem ?

What I mean, is that NS price is attractive, comparatively to Sony and Microsoft counterparts.
As always, consoles are sold at loss, we all know why.

Once you're in, then and only then comes the real deal: accessories, games and services, where big N can make consequent income.

Of course people on GBATemp dedicate time to investigate these ecosystems, because they like it. But average people ? They don't and are, IMO, 'trapped' if they want to enjoy the bare-bone console they bought in the first place. I still think they are forced, because they have been fooled.
