I don't know what DFCC is, but I personally recommend Rominator 2008. It has all the features you could need (a save-game manager, a safe-trimmer, auto-renaming etc), it's database is being updated by Mr.Seiko and now all of the bonus features you used to have to pay for are free!
There's also DS Rom Organizer, which is more useful if you want just a little bit more finesse. Beware though, this one is a little too complex and is focuses more on examining roms in general than just quickly using it to find out what to fill that last 80 megs on your flashcart's SD card.
