We have an Xbox One OG and Xbox One X.
We are currently using Energizer rechargeable batteries from WalMart.
My kids have to change the batteries regularly, at least once a day.
Are there better batteries or packs that give longer life?
I heard the Panasonic Eneloops are good and last a long time..

Eneloops are great, they do tend to be more expensive than others though.

You can sometimes pick up what is essentially the same thing (same battery, same factory, different wrap) from other brands for a little cheaper (for example the copper and green 2500mah duracells were rewrapped eneloops for a while, not sure if they still are). They last ages in the controller. I keep one set in mine and one spare and just cycle them when flat.

For better value option, amazon basic is good. They apparently aren't exactly the same as eneloop anymore, but still decent. Still a good low self discharge battery (so won't go flat by themself) and last for a good amount of cycles.

The higher capacity versions of the batteries tend to have less charge cycles and are a little fatter. The 2400mah still fit, but it's tighter fit than the 1900mah ones.

Just to follow up:
I did order some high capacity Amazon branded Eneloops and we are getting about 3-4 days of use out of them (compared to one day with energizer)!
Very happy!
