Can anybody tell me what the best Playstation emulator for PC is? I've heard good things about ePSXe 1.7 but wanted to make sure it was the best out there. Thanks. I used the Temp search function but couldn't find an answer.

I prefer PSX Emulator. It's much, much simpler.

It's extremely old. It's still 1.13 and while it nice that it emulates the PSX exactly, it also means it leaves jaggies for higher res PCs and lacks some needed support for things like scanline functions. ePSXe allows you to either smooth out the polygons or use scanlines to get rid of jaggies.

if you have legit games then cvgs is probably the best one
it only takes disc based games, no ISO's

it will run full speed on even the crappiest of computers

That would be a pain for portability's sake. ePSXe seems like a bitch to set up, as well.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
