Guys i need a emulator for NDS games on my computer because their is still some time in getting a nintendo(3ds)

So which is the best emulator for windows pc.
And can i trade with it in my laptop?
how to do trading?

will the save files work on ds when i get it?

Thanks

best:
desmume 0.9.7 - better compatibility and updated mac version.
- has it's own save file format .dsv.
- wifi support in some games.(didn't make it work myself but there is this thread here.

for slower systems:
no$gba 2.6a + no$zoomer 2.3.0.2 + firmware and bios files - has compatibility issues since it's not updated for 3 years but still is the fastest emu. windows only
- you choose raw, compressed or uncompressed for save files.
- no wifi.

umm. what about trading?

I personally used DeSmuME 0.9.6 when I was using emulator to test games..
I used to use no$gba but now I always get errors at loading screen..

anyways like others said.. DeSmuME has LIVE compatibility with roms! (don't mind my slang (live))

how to make gameplay faster(like in no$gba)(fast forward)?
I need to play pokemon so i need to make it fast.any suggestions?

EDit: got it the + button.

if you have dual core or anything higher use DESMUME
if you have a p4 use NO$ZOOMER

to speed it up select Realtime*2 auto in options (NO$ZOOMER)

desmume is good with game compatibility and it good only if u have a decent computer

no$gba is better for slower computers but has less game compatibility

guys i can't save on desmume.

when i save the game it gets save but when i reset or play it again it starts all over again from the begining?

trading:
desmume 0.9.7 - maybe through wifi.
no$gba 2.6a + no$zoomer 2.3.0.2 + firmware and bios files - impossible

desmume wiki
desmume 0.9.7 thread in ngemu

I know its almost impossible to trade using wifi, but is it possible to trade alongside your computer?
I mean the way we use to do it on visual boy advanced.

Read this FAQ! Normally, WIFI function is not supported or unfinished yet and it make few years to analysis it.

Visual Boy Advanced only play GB and GBA games, not NDS games!
