Go Go Beckham! Adventure on Soccer Island
- Don't let the name put you off, this game is an EXCELLENT cute platformer/puzzle game, one of the best GBA games IMO - from the team that made Denki Blocks
Good one, I forgot all about it. Excellent game

Stafy/Starfy is the name of the game (rom nº 0579, 1143, 1609)
It´s the best platformer by far:
Graphics 10
Sound 10
Gameplay 10
The minigames are such a blast (mini-Arkanoid, pong against a seal, mini-pool, eel-ridin', the witch...)
The final bosses are great either, makes me laugh to beat the band.
I wonder why this ppl didn´t bring this pearl to the States or Euroland.

Gekido Advance had bad reviews. I liked it though lol.

I don't Stafy should be in this thread. It's not at all mediocre nor had bad reviews as far as I know.

Since they didn´t release it in the States or in Euroland I think they don´t give a chance to this gem.
Did you saw a review of this on IGN, Gamespot or something?
So many ppl don't know a thing about this game, so I think it should be in this thread, ok?

Naw Legend of Stafy(Starfy) deserves the list. It hits national mediocrity on the grounds it was never given a show except to importers outside of Japan. Great game, no respect. Only played it a bit but it was like Kirby and Ristar tossed into one.

This is a cool idea for a thread. Hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure, right?

I think the first TMNT game that was released for the GBA is an awesome "mediocre game". I'd say the Legacy of Goku series too, but of course, it helps tremendously if you're a DBZ fan and know the storylines, etc.

Solar Striker was one for the original B&W game boy - hmm, can't think of much else right now.

+1 for ninja 5-0, it's kinda like, the bestest, mostest awesomest game on the GBA just because of the GRAPPLING HOOK.

You can't make a good game without grappling hooks.
