Hacking Best Image Format for ComicBookDS?

This is for my Negima volumes i downloaded, and i just want to be sure that i have the best format for reading.

There is no 'best' setting. Depending on the picture(s) you're converting, you'll have to adjust accordingly til you get a good readable result.
I usually check the picture in photoshop and see if the resolution would be readable or not and then change the resolution to less or same.
Like the latest I converted was the Golden Sun DD guide book and I had to change to width:2000, height:2189 so it would be readable on the DS.
