Hacking best gba emulator for n3ds?

I have gpsp installed as a cia and I have near perfect compatibility with most games. Fire Red runs perfect.
 
Download one of the retroarch nightlys, should be on the first/second page of the homebrew subforum. It'll have all retroarch emu cias. Catsfc is my go to snes emu as well.
 
If AGB_FIRM isn't an option, I'd say go with gpSP for now until mGBA's speed is a bit better. mGBA is really nice, but its speed is just a bit too low to really be usable on N3DS.
