Which DVDs are best?

Verbatim is said to be best, but it really doesn't matter that much.
Just pick a good, decent brand, so don't go with the cheapest.

Memorex dvd-r work great they're cheap and quite common too.

Verbatim are (supposed) the best. Got myself philips DVD-R 16x (mediacode INFOMEDIAR30) and they work fine. Got also Philips DVD-R 16x (mediacode MBI 01RG40) and won't work. Maybe a topic with working mediacodes is an idea?

I'd say Verbatim is the best.. (one of the most expensive) too. I just got some DVD-R's by Sony, Supposed to be good too. I'd go with a name brand. so don't buy any packages you see on sale for a dollar

My personal fave is Verbatim!
If you get them at sam's club you can get like 200 count pack for like 30 bucks!

I use taiyo yuden, might be a bit more expensive then some others but I've never had a coaster yet...

TDK DVD+R discs work fine for be. Never had a failed disc.

I use memorex dvd-r with no issues so far. Cheap & easy with IMGBurn.
