Hacking Best combination for "new" 3ds

Since there seems to be an update on the compatible versions (11.3), so I bother trying to update my current "new" 3ds XL that is on 11.3?

There reason I ask is I am still waiting on my n3ds in the mail along with my updates microSD (32gb).

Can I just update my 11.3 on the standard storage that comes with it and then add a larger storage in later, or do I need to be using the SD I plan on using during the CFW process?

you can always change ur sd card. just copy all the files over to the new one.

how will you update it to 11.3? Its 11.4 already if you do system upgrade since 10Apr2017.

I haven't updated yet. I had a n3ds stuck on 11.3 until this latest hole was posted.

Smaller new 3ds is much nicer than XL.

The small n3DS feels and looks like a toy, to be honest.
