I use AVPlayer. It's ok only sometimes I have a problem to set it up so that it correctly displays subtitles in my language, but otherwise it's good.
I've also used OPlayer previously, but there seems to be a problem with the latest update, it seems every few minutes the video/audio stops for a split second which makes a very unpleasant interruption if you watch a movie. But it could be my iPod, I dunno...

CineXPlayer and XBMC (requires jailbreak) are the best ones in my opinion. Use XBMC if you want to stream off your network, it does it without lag (I imagine playing off the device is even better).
CineXPlayer is good because you can just copy the movies to it using iTunes.

VLCplayer is pretty good.
I got it from the official appstore. And it should probably be somewhere on some cracked iApps website too.
Cause it's not on the official anymore, and the one on Cydia seemed to be a little less good or something.
