Hello community!

Okay, so I have my switch for two years now and always used ReiNX. But since it does not support the latest firmware, I decided to clean the sd card and start over with Atmosphere/Hekate two days ago. Everything worked fine. However, for some reason the battery seems to have some problems since yesterday. Left it in the dock for some time during the evening and wanted to play a bit later.

Right away it showed me the red battery icon when I turned the switch back on, which pretty much means it's empty (even though it was full charged some hours ago). Weird. Left it alone for a bit and came back later, when it was at 100 % again. But now you can literally see how the battery goes down to zero percent in a matter of two minutes. Battery also charges back to 100 % in not even two minutes. Auto RCM is off

Here is a picture of my battery. But by looking at the current capacity, I guess it doesn't look too good, eh? Can I still do something or is this thing most likely dead? Is it hard to replace?

If you've used it a lot in handheld mode (charging it up once a day or more on average) that can wear down the capacity to nothing within 2-3 years. Lithium batteries aren't rated for more than like 500-1000 charge cycles.
At least the battery isn't soldered in, so it can be replaced without too much trouble, although it can be a bit scary ripping the adhesive off.
