Homebrew Battery Checker App?

You can't run two applications at once on the DS. As soon as you load the DS game, the logger application would be shut out of memory.

i know this post is too old but now there's rosalina menu and that's how i know how many battery i have. but same question. now in 2017, at this time, it can't be done? (the app i mean)
