Hey guys, I'm a bass player if you didn't know and I'm looking into getting some bass effects. Now, I could be all old-school and buy the effects, but I'm a cheapskate. I'm thinking there must be some software that can do the same thing.

So far the only thing I've come up with is this.

Also, what kind of computer would I need to run it? Would a Dell Mini 10v or a Acer Aspire One be able to run it?
Look on the requirements...

"Screen resolution at least 1024x768, recommended 1280x1024 and more"

So unless you use an external monitor, no.

I will Google On Some

You mean like MIDI effects to use while recording? Cause there really isn't anything freeware wise, you have to go for something like Adobe Audition, Ableton or any of those high end recording programs to get effects as far as I know, plus you need an interface device to plug your instrument into the computer for best results. Best bet is to just get something like a Line 6 Bass POD, they are pretty cheap and have decent effects.
