Starfox Zero is a great example of a game that should have skipped the wiiu. Its a 3ds game thats been awkwardly ported to the wiiu. BUT its also almost the exact same game as starfox 64 from 20 years ago but WITHOUT the 4 player dog fight...

Smash, Splatoon, Mario Maker. Those are wiiu games that shouldnt be ported but needs to be brand NEW game, UNLESS its bundled with the console. Mario Maker only fun online, same with splatoon...

I personally would like a game like nintendoland/ mario v sonic brazil be online games. They could also bring Zelda triforce Heroes onto console but with regular level updates and a better way to collect friend tokens.

As a matter of fact they should do more games or more free updates for mario games

Nintendo needs to push some of that money into making movies that explain some back story. I like the StarFox short and it did get me a little hyped for the game for a bit. This is the same case with FF15, they know the game isnt that good, so they come with a web cartoon and a free cgi movie to try to get people to buy it.

Metroid Other M could have definitely used it as its story was... meh (it came out a decade ago though)

All consoles ARE competing, nintendo being the clear loser. There has to be parity within consoles in order to have 3rd party developers sign on, making them more or less in direct competition. Their problem is how is one going to be different than the other within the same confines of hardware. WiiU/wii took a different route and suffered from the start(wiiu) or end(wii).

Nintendo wants to cater to more than 13mil CONSOLE buyers. These companies can never have enough billions of dollars plain and simple. The problem is while some people consider themselves as "hardcore" they dont play or acknowledge other genres such as shooters, puzzles, mobile, sports, horror etc.etc. or flatout refuse to believe that those kinds of games bring in more money and a more expansive consumer base.

If nintendo was fine with their 13mil buyers and a good 1mil average sold per game then WHY go ahead with the NX?

that is the case that "hybrid" means not only one console but the ability for the handheld to stream to the home console and the home cosole to stream to the handheld.
this is more likely a rumor that you can believe since the enourmus wiiu gamepad experience and feedback they got.
on smash you can connect the 3ds and use it as a controller, another tech they experimented.
So there are more evidences and real tech they used for the exact opposite than a hybrid console ...

but i repeat you can rely on a rumor by a analist already proven wrong many times instead of real facts and 2 ceo words...
in the end people still today believe that earth is flat , that man never went to the moon ect ect ...

Current spec, even if below ps4k would be too much to fit inside say gamepad. Unless they use amd's Navi which is in 2018, then yes, it would be stupid to do that. And other android console have proven that hard.
3ds as controller is definitely going a portable-with-streaming route, but most likely non-essential.
But are you sure you did not mix up with her fakers?
Earth is definitely not flat, but maybe the moon launch was fake.
Miyamoto might need to go, or Nintendo can choose to become another Bandai.

if i want to go speculations then I already made a list of a possible NX family composed by 4 devices.
still separated but able to work togheter as I explained.
And my speculation is technically possible...yes maybe I used too much imagination on those 4 devices but i based that on real tech nintendo could put out at fair price for consumer.

If I want to go facts, then I stay to what Iwata said and Kimishima confirmed.
I have no logical reason to not believe them.

Miracast/ Wi-Di was designed for this task.
It is just a matter of software.
It's just like 1080p and 4k on pc game, and sony is rumoured to do the same thing.
sorry did not read it carefully. Navi is good enough for the nx but that will make it dubut in 2018.
As long as there is no change in architechture, gen 9 can go on for another 10 years.

One- WiiU lost most of its money when they bundled the Gamepad with it, the game pad alone was worth about $250 at first release. They wont repeat that mistake.
Two - Nintendo invested 500+million on previously unused internet technology.
Three - Nintendo said they would continue working on wiiu and 3ds even though there arent any new game coming out and one production company even said they stopped making the wiiu which nintendo outright denied.
