i tried installing the bannerbomb and failed

can someone plz tell me step by step on how to install it
my firmware is 4.0U this is my serial LU63457076[4]

You don't "install" Bannerbomb. You use it to install stuff, eg Homebrew Channel. But anyway, here's what you do.

Download BannerBomb, and HackMii installer
Rename private folder on SD card to somethin else, e.g. privateold
Copy the private folder from BannerBomb to root of SD card
Copy hackmii installer renamed as boot.elf (or .dol can't remember, whichever extension it has to start with)
Stick SD card in wii
Turn on wii and go to settings>data management>channels>Sd card
A dialog should pop up asking if you want to load from SD, press yes
Select what you want to install in HackMii installer. You need Homebrew Channel for homebrew, I'd recommend installing DVDx and BootMii as well (DVDx allows homebrew to use DVDs and BootMii gives brick protection if installed to boot2)

Also, this should be in homebrew section, now games & general discussion

OK, the 'private' folder goes on your SD card (formatted to FAT32), and the hackmii installer in the root of your SD. The hackmii installer might need renaming to boot.dol or boot.elf otherwise bannerbomb will not work. Withoutout your SD card insterted, go to data management, channels, select SD. When it says no sd inserted pop in your SD and you should be away

There are several versions of bannerbomb, if you have no luck try a diiferent one

still nothing man i tried four different versions and no luck
i did it how yew said
copy the private folder to the root of the sd
then go into the hack mii installer and copy the installer_beta elf to boot.dol or boot.elf
then copy that to the root of the sd [im just suppose to have to thing right the private folder and the boot.elf]

yeahh hmmm it actuall does run
but instead of telling me to press (1) it tells me to press (A) like if i was just playing a game

maybe im dumb or something but i cant get this to work i even turn off my wifi

okk i went to the website and it did launch
but i couldnt managed to downgrade and install the hombrew channel
and i wanted to try it again and it doesnt let me it tells me that i have ran the DowngraderIOS35.dol already
i cant mange to install it

Hello,

this tutorial will show you how to install the HomeBrew Channel on a virgin Systemmenu 4.0 using the bannerbomb exploit.

Download the attached file, unzip it and copy the content to your SD card.

Step 1:
Go to Data Management then choose Channels followed by SD.

Step 2:
Choose "Yes" to load boot.dol
- LoadMii will then load.
- Press "A" on the WiiMote.

Step 3:
Go down to DowngraderIOS35.dol and run it by pressing "A" on the WiiMote.
Choose downgrade IOS35 and then let it go, then choose exit (ignore the patchmii and dvdx)

Step 4:
You'll be back in LoadMii now.
- Go down and run Wad Manager 1.4 by pressing "A" on WiiMote.
- Just select normal settings (don't change IOS)

Step 5:
Install IOS35.wad.
- Exit Wad Manager 1.4 by pressing "HOME"
- You'll be back in LoadMii.

Step 6:
Run Wad Manager again, Select IOS35 when it asked what IOS to use.
- Install the CIOSv7.wad.
- Press "Home" to exit.

Step 7:
Then Run Wad Manager again.
- Tell it to use IOS249.
- Install IOS36.wad & HBC.wad

Without sounding insulting, have you followed the instructions to the letter? Ive had a few people come back to me who have failed due to them skipping steps they deemed 'unnecessary'. It's important when using the WAD Manager that you select the correct IOS.

Also have you got an internet connection with your wii?

okk finally i got the hombrew channel
hmmm but it didnt downgrade its still in 4.0U

ohhh one more thing where can i get app's for the homebrew channel ?

Look for Homebrew Browser, or go to Wiibrew.org. HB Browser allows you to search for apps and Dl them straight to your SD. BTW, I personally don't like 4.0 and downgraded to 3.2 but it's your choice mate. Good luck, and chuffed that you got HBC installed. Have fun!
