Hardware Banned Switch?

That was because the 3ds used a file that was able to be replaced with the help of cfw. Can't replace the file on switch, and Nintendo will likely ban any cert that is seen to have more than one instance at a time. Meaning even if we get to that point it will likely still not be enough.
My point is even without it being a file on the switch, a CFW might be able to override any requests to read the cert, presenting a different one instead. I'm thinking something kinda similar to mac address spoofing, it's obviously going to be a bit more complicated than that but still likely doable.

That is true, stuff like efuses, security patches (well minus version 1.0.X - 3.0.X Since it has that major security flaw), and cartridges have been changed drastically I think to improve security on the Switch, but then again it makes me skeptical that a full security ban system to detect CFW or homebrew users is already working on the switch considering that a "test" was recently launched on the 3ds and no longer really continuing. But I could be wrong.

I don't think its something to start immedeatly worrying about considering there have been many other consoles deemed impossible to hack because of the security and they were hacked anyway. It may be possible to downgrade a Nintendo Switch at some point or not be banned for playing online but idk, I could be wrong about that.
I've never said it was impossible. My point is more that it will be much more of a challenge this time if it is possible, very dissimilar to how older nintendo consoles were. And even when we do get there we have to be sure to tiptoe around nintendo else we risk causing a ban wave because they detect something we didn't realize they could detect.

Yeah and if you read what you replied to I said even with that it likely won't be a fix:

Problably. Every download of the game would be associated with a unique license associated to a specific user account on a specific console. Any overlap or mixmatch may be grounds for a permaban, and the record is on Nintendo's servers so they know if there is any attempts at tampering.

Keeping everything under the hood yes that is possible, trying to keep the hack or idea un-exposed probably not possible, people could probably make tools at some point to hide certain things. For example like Incognito on the 3ds, however if you make something public (or not) it will be found out at some point and action will be taken.

I don't know what else to tell you other than "Oh, it can probably work" but like, yeah.

Yeah, because my 3DS has cfw and I used an amiibo on there that I used on my switch which doesn't have cfw (not like I'll ever get it). I made sure to delete the information off of the amiibo on my switch and reregister it. I've been wondering if it's possible that I can get banned on my switch from that amiibo. Is it possible?
I highly doubt the Amiibo stores any data that could get you banned, even if you own a console that has CFW on it. Even if someone made a homebrew app or game that wrote data to Amiibos, the Switch would be more likely to treat it like garbage/corrupted data rather than react with an autoban, AFAIK.
