Bandwidth Usage Limiter

hey guys so im looking for a usage limiter for my internet. one that will stop the internet session once you have gone over a certain aamount of data.
does anyone know of any software like it?

Software can only really control the PC, which doesn't control the actual connection (the router does), so in order for this to work best you either need to limit yourself to only using ONE device, or find a router you can replace the firmware on so you can use something like DD-WRT or Tomato, which have a lot more features than stock firmwares.

Doesn't stop your internet, but you can slow it down.
