One alternative tho is you had a friend who had a pair

It's also not unlikely, except that I definitely owned these socks at one point, so unless someone forgot their socks in my house, I might have some introspection to do about that realisation.

Same, every time I wake up, it goes from good to bad.
I only have good mornings when I oversleep until noon.
