Hacking Backups asking for Update (Hard Modded)

I finally backed up my collection of Wii games, and when I try to run them, it asks me to update my firmware. I took my Wii in to get it modded, but didn't ask for the type of mod.

Is there any way I can skip this update, and just play the game? I don't have the Homebrew Channel installed, or anything. What do I do?

I bet he paid for a softmod

You can either use NeoGamma to load your discs and enable to skip updates, or depending on what firmware you are on you can use Preloader or Startpatch to disable disc updates.

Just install preloader, along with a hacks.ini for you System Menu, and enable the "Block Disc Updates" hack. What System Menu do you have installed?
