This was inevitable, no point in removing the "run a fs_mitm containing CFW release, run your target app" because the cat is out of the bag.

I can confirm some success with Issac + Fallout Shelter.

There are still plenty of other things to develop for Atmosphere. LayeredFS is needed for game modding not necessarily for backup loading. Its a nightmare to run for the average user. And SciresM is not anti-piracy. To be anti-piracy, you have to implement anti-piracy code or some other effective measure to prevent people from pirating. And he has not implemented any such code in Atmosphere. Just because he's not working on a backup launcher doesn't mean he's anti-piracy. Its more correct to say he doesn't care about piracy as he is neither making a backup launcher nor preventing anyone from making one in Atmosphere

I can confirm this solution works as expected. I was able to run Megaman instead of Fallout Shelter.
Saves work, crashed only once, sleep works, for now I'm really satisfied.

Tutorial for the whole process would be helpful, but I found almost all needed tools and information already on the internet.
So if one can use google and board seach function, one should be able, earlier or later, to succeed.

I couldn't get that automator exe to work though. What does it do to fix saves?

You're still salty about that? lmao.
Hard coding keys in a really early build isnt bad coding. At worst its copyright infringement. Converting classes from CDNX to VBNET and compiling hactool into it while also causing high risk for cert ban and console softbrick with no warning to the user is kinda bad.

Sorry to shit on you (you do good work lol), it was 2AM, I was sick of all the messages and I tried to defend my CDN downloader the worst way possible, pointing my finger at a different application that does the same thing...
Quick tip regarding the way the Switch sends out requests, I noticed it doesn't send a HEAD request to https://atum.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net/t/a/ but rather https://atum.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net/a/d/ to get the meta nca ID.
