Hacking backup wont launch. get the wirst strap screen

Ok,

i have 2 backups that i cannot get going for the life of me. mario kart, and COD5. I am using gamma .3 and the older backup loader as well. I used 3 different media sony dvd-r ( gets wrist strap screen then black)

Hp DVD-r (same)

Verbatim +r works with zelda fine and also prince of persia but neither of the games above.

I am using an ntsc wii and the COD5 is pal and i did force ntsc.
i have patched cios ver7 and followed all the tutorials around.

anyone ever have this happen?

Um, he was using DVD-R.

Can you tell me which version your System Menu is on, i guess you have to update to 3.2U .

try 4x or 8x burn speed. It took me three tries to get a good copy burned of COD. Mario Kart was working after the first try.

Tried to boot either with softchip? Tried to boot them from gamma inside the HBC? Reinstalled the rev7 cios?

He is using Verbatim +r too and he is noob. Please excuse when i assume he didn't do the bitsetting.
