Hi all, I have system menu 3.3E and i use backup loader 0.3 gamma. I s this my best option?

I have seen a lot of people on here use menu 3.2x with starfall, is this a better option? if so is there any guides on changing to it?

Cheers.

You could get a modchip, but that requires opening your wii and voiding the warrenty. There is also Soft-Chip, which is another type of Backup loader

Starfall only 3.2 so you would need to downgrade. Starfall isn't a backup loader (I'm not sure what you mean by "is this a better option"...), it helps you protect against a brick (this makes you system unusable).

Search here or google, there are lots of guides for this stuff

Well if you are using only games from your region you should be ok but if you are using backups from other regions than starfall is More than recomended for brick prevention purposes.........

dude you need to go down to 3.2 and starfall is a recovery system so to speak..

you need this because if you install bad homebrew, or a update or wad from the wrong region you can fuck you Wii..

Starfall helps you get out of this pickle..

EDIT - beat me to it DJ lol

Is it worth doing? most of my games are dumps i have made from friends discs.

this is the coolest forum on the net, most places you have to wait about an hour for an answer.

CIOSCORP, unless they've an official installer, I recommend staying away.

For downgrading, I recommend following EmperorofCanada's All-In-One Guide.

To downgrade just use cIOS Downgrader1.2 + IOS Downgrader 1.0 ABC

A)Load the aplication in the HBC
B)Select desired version and run the aplication
C)Wait for the aplication to end the process
