mine works perfectly. I don't know what you mean by "scrub" by I just burn the iso straight to the disc. I burned at 16x on a dvd+r. no loading issues and freezes here. works great.

i have a us wii and i have tested the follwing games

My copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl (PAL) 1:1 works perfectly with awesome load times. However, the patched version keeps freezing after about 4-5mins of gameplay.

I had dumped the game via the network method and it is working just fine...

I've tried 3 games so far, would've tested more but i have school work to do.
USA wii
Burned on Philips DVD+R with booktype DVD-ROM at 4x
Naruto Spippudden EX 2 (J)(decrypted)(scrubbed) works, no lag during opening video, loads faster.
LEGO Batman (U)(decrypted) works, no lag during cutscenes, loads faster.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed (U)(decrypted) doesn't work gives eject error on load.

The speed increase is my favorite part of the new version. The load times on the old version was too long. The ONE thing people need to remember is that this is a BETA version not everything is 100% this is why WE should report which games are not working so WiiGator can look into it and see why they don't work.
I've also notice that some people are reporting games not working when they do work and I think thats because they didn't install the cISO that was released with the Backup Launcher. Either that or they have a bad burn or the game just don't work.
Make sure you have everything you need to run the Backup Launcher.
I'll test more games when I have some time.

Does a patched version of No More Heroes still crash on the Bad News Avenue, or is it 1:1 copies only?

If by Bad News Avenue you mean the eastern-most road where if you ride down it the game freezes and makes a high-pitched buzzing noise, then yes.

My patched NTSC NMH crashes on that road.

Is there anything on that road?

If you see the yellow billboard, prepare to freeze.

Disaster Day of Crisis PAL works perfect here. I did use W.i.u. v1.1 on it to patch to NTSC & I also updated the iso to the latest firmware with that program. Is it not considered 1:1 since I did that? I just want to get my terminology correct here so I can accurately report.

Also what is considered "non-crappy media"? I am using Verbatim DVD-R & burning at 2x speed. Like I said, Disaster works while de Blob gives disc eject error.

I agree. I burned ALL of my games at 16x on DVD+R and they all work except those games that don't work of course to begin with.

I love when people say to burn at a low speed... that's what gives more errors! The discs are MEANT to be burnt at a certain speed... if your disc says 16x, burn at 16x... if your disc says 2.4x, burn at 2.4x!

Stop telling everyone to burn at low speeds... that's whats causing most of the disc read errors!

I just tried that with Sonic Super Stars Tennis and got the same exact error on a 16x disc burnt at 16x

I knew I was just gonna waste a disc.

Though someone try it on another media other than Memorex and lemme know if it works.
These Disc read errors seem odd.
Though I bet nothing too serious.

Edit: Didn't read the part about the DVD+R.
I'm using only DVD-Rs.
So far I haven't had problems with -Rs at any paticular speed.
Never tried +Rs
This disc error seems to be something else.

1:1 means a clean unaltered copy. One to One.
Backup-creator decrypts them.
Alot of people say patched but its really being decrypted, though patched works well enough.
I think its starting to get a tad confusing for some though.

Here's what I've tried:

Working:
RE 4 (NTSC - 1:1)
Super Paper Mario (NTSC - 1:1)
Mario Party 8 (NTSC - 1:1)
Wario Ware Smooth Moves (NTSC - 1:1)

Mostly Working:
Zelda Twilight Princess (NTSC - 1:1) - Gives an error during boot, eject the disk, then re-insert to continue

Not Working:
Mario Strikers Charged (NTSC - 1:1) - Shows an error, requires power cycle to reboot

3.3u(a) margo's word brain scrubbed, patched ntsc works 100%...
excite truck scrubbed and patched and non-scrubbed 1:1 works 100%.... Wild Earth, African Safari (pal game, force NTSC works flawlessly. beautiful game btw.

Defending DePenguins, works with no problems what-so-ever.

Has anyone tried to get past the point on Super Paper Mario that made it freeze in the last loader? I got the game to boot but haven't started it yet, I want to know if it's worth starting the game yet or not. I'm not gonna bother if I can't actually complete the game due to it freezing.

Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection
With WiiGator's BL 0.1, the game worked fine, except would freeze when you try to load the Pin*Bot table. Now with 0.3, ALL Tables work (and the faster loading is a plus)

Works great now, no longer freezes after you select your player.

Manhunt 2 PAL uncut version - WORK FINE ! no problem,all level tested !
No more heroe NTSC patched to PAL - No problem for now,but this game crash sometime on the 0.1 version...so...wait and see !
