1:1 means non decrypted right?? as mine is patched and plays flawlessly.
Right, 1:1 means I didn't patch it.
My RE4 is patched, but I seem to be getting the same problem with a 1:1 copy I burnt as well.

It worked fine in the 0.1 loader, but now I can't load my saved games.
Both are burned on Verbatium discs by the way.

I have CIOS Fixed installed and I tried it using various 0.3 based loaders, all had the same problem.
mine runs on 0.1 havent tried the newer loader .

and that helps him how?, nice pointless post, same problem with re4 for me,though im not really fond of the game so it doesnt really matter, i prefer the rail shooters

helps him in maybe he could try the old loader, jerk off.

working on NTSC-U wii(wiigator backup loader v.03):
Legend of Zelda
Mario Kart Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
EA Playground
Super Paper Mario
(all abouve are NTSC-U)

Not Working:
De Blob NTSC-U

if someone could help me out here, i've desperately tried to patch my de blob iso, but i haven't been able to with 3 different backup creators. i've tried the one named wiibackuppatcher, tried backup-creator, and finally extractpartition. I've tried 3 methods for each, tried browsing to the patcher program, tried right-click dragging the iso to the program and even tried writing a run.bat file to make it run. all of that to no avail. idk what i'm doing wrong or if its just my crappy windows vista. tomorrow i will try to do it on my xp machine...if anybody has any tips on how to get this game patched, it would be much appreciated.
I want to patch it so i can use it on the v0.1 wiigator loader.

EDIT: finally figured out why i couldnt patch de blob. it was already patched loll..
anyway got both my loaders workings, now de blob is working on v.01 with a few slowdowns but nevetheless working

Sayargh : Which level was it ? (seems to work until the 2.3 (included) from the compatibility list) but it's an 1:1 so if you manage to pass it, will change the entry. But the new fix seems to make it work.

ReyRey184 : Not true. Mine only have the "PAL" region listed, and will wait the comments of the NTSC one to be completed. And it's precised about the region of the system. If it says "ForcePAL", means it's a NTSC system. But basically, PAL games listed are for PAL system. I don't count a PAL game which wouldn't work only on a NTSC system a valid entry, as long as it works on a PAL system). It's hard to do a good compatibility list, because of the dvd format, which also depend of the quality of the media but I think the one I did is good overall.

sav_ : Which one ? PAL or NTSC ?

rko1000 : Your link point to Wiigator's post, which give the classic 0.3 version in the first post. Mind to give the exact link to it?

About Resident Evil 4, seems to work (several peoples reported it as it) but maybe a confirmation would be good.

Compatibility list updated again after gone through the last pages of the thread (take a while, didn't read at during several days). Also several others games which seems to work now.

By the way, I read there is a new fix for the loader. So I changed the entries of Day of Crisis and Wario Land are several people confirmed there are working. Also modified Elebits which works now. No More Heroes seems to not crash anymore but would need some confirmations later.

When you get a game which isn't working, would need to try the new fix now, which is here :

Would also be interesting to retry all the non-working/crashing games with this fix.

Games which would need to be tested again :

- Big Beach Sports
- Call of Duty 3
- Call of Duty 5 : World at War
- DeBlob
- Fire Emblem : Radiant Down (the freezing chapter)
- Lego Star Wars
- Red Steel
- SSX Blur
- Super Paper Mario (fix the japanese one so why not the other ones)
- WWE : Smackdown vs RAW 2008
- WWE : Smackdown vs RAW 2009

This is the list of not-working games which could profit of the fix (I didn't listed the one with the "disc error", which I think, won't work after the fix but feel free to test)

If you could read, this is the "0.3" list, not the 0.1. Jerk off.

Update the wiki so that my time spent testing it for everyone wasn't in vain.
Update the wiki yourself - that is what it is there for. No need to rely on others when it can easily be edited by anyone.

Also what is with all the people adding games that work in 0.1 to the 0.3 wiki, and people coming on this thread claiming game X works? Please stop.

Sorry to say this, but I already said it worked fine with the 0.1 loader.

Would there be a way to keep track of what games are added to the wiki at what date and by whom? I think that would be helpful not to have to scroll the whole list each time and just have a look at what was updated

thanks

3.2E

Fifa 09 - 1:1

Works Perfect. played a full season. only defect was that the in match commentary was missing on ONE of the matches. runs/loads perfectly.

----

Scarface - Patched & 1:1 - Disc error. "Eject disc and turn off the wii. read user manual" etc

----

Celebrity Sports Showdown - Patched

Works Perfect and no load time issues

----

Ferrari Challenge - Patched

Works perfect

----

Bully Scholarship edition - 1:1

Works Perfect - Slightly longer load times than original but other wise perfect game play.

----

Guilty gear - 1:1

Played fine in MOM(?) mode but arcade mode i got an error and game froze.

Maybe a disc issue on my behalf so will reburn this game and report back.

----

All Pal Backups.

I've tried. I can update 0.1 wiki but I have no idea how to do anything to the 0.3

Also, Quantum of Solace NTSC does work on 0.3 and I thought other people might like to know that.

Use the History feature.
It shows each edit and a breif description of what got changed (most will just have an arrow pointing to the letter of the section that god edited, say if someone edited Super Paper Mario, it'd be an arrow pointing to S)

It has radio buttons on the side of each edit so you can compare two edits too see what changed.

Someone with change access to the compatibility Wiki please change this for SSBB NTSC DVD5:

"The adventure mode freeze at ~14% of the game."

It didn't happen here.

Thanks!

I was working on a new compatibility matrix for the backup launchers. Please take a look at it:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?title=WiiPower
What do you think, would this matrix be better than the actual ones?

This wiki is only a prototype and it's not planned to be really used, i have no experience with wikis. If anybody wants to implement and maintain it, please feel free.

PS: Maybe SoftChip could be included too, instead of yes/no, the revision number which works, and NOTHING posted if it does not work with SoftChip

Just tested out Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2

NTSC-U Disc on NTSC-U System

Burned at 2x speed on TDK DVD-R Disc

Everything plays perfectly but my Pelican multi-console dance mat does not work
frown.gif
which basically takes the whole fun out of it I even tried switching the hooktype to GC pad and my GC controller works but mt mat still wasn't working

That is not the backup loader or the burn's fault. The original game IS like that, it won't work with about 90% of the third-party gamecube dance pads (is REALLY sad). Apperently you either need to OFFICIAL Konami pad, or one design for the Wii, reason I haven't bought the game, if it work with my dance pad I would had. Konami really mess up in that regard BIG time.

So, Okami definitely, 100% sure doesn't work on WiiGator 0.3 right?

Confirmed, and burned on CompUSA DVDs (Yep lol):
Metroid Prime 3 (NTSC-U) = A FMV kinda stuttered and doors take longer to open than in the original.
Naruto Shippuden EX 2 (Japanese): Works perfectly.

Using cheap DVDs like the ones I am using affect in anyway the Wii lens?
