It has been told that The homebrew channel was upgraded in order to counter-attack Nintendo's Phantom 3.4, but that in order to do so, it...nah...she (sweety HBC) lost compatibility with all previous homebrews ... did i get the wrong info ?

Indeed, and one might add, that it is the third letter of the greek alphabet.
In the cyrillic alphabet, the sign for the capital gamma is the same as the capital G. The small, Greek gamma is not present in the cyrillic alphabet.

The cyrillic alphabet itself is derived from the Greek alphabet, and is dated to 890 A.D.


Which leads me to the question - might one find oneself in possesion of said gamma, preferrably with 0.3 in front of it, say, tomorrow night?

hmm..... tried to search forum but can't get the right keywords.

Let say i downloaded Mario.iso, then i burned it to DVD-R. then i delete the original iso.
and now i want to make another copy of that iso.

is it possible to just put my burned dvd-r to nero and do 1:1 copy? or do i need to dumped it from wii?

btw there are no problem with HBC .9, for any of you that have problem with it then just update the homebrew app, i am sure there are newer version of it. HBC 1.0 is coming...... and gamma....

I believe so - you may need to find dols to replace elf files , but most are available without issues

yes that works perfectly well with direct 1:1 copy

Will back-up games/isos work on version 3.3U?
I bought my Wii already on 3.3U..
And I was able to install hombrew channel using twilight hack...

I'm just curious if in case I will be able to install Wiigator, will the burned isos work on my Wii?
Or do I need to downgrade?

Seems like the latest release of the homebrew channel got a compatibility issue with previous .dol & .elf

However U wouldn't have to downgrade anything 'cause i'm sure Wiigator & Waninkoko will fix easily (for them) the problem, so if you're using a beta, and that you get the beta running properly, there should be no problems...
But i refused my Homebrew channel to upgrade by WI FI, 'cause the beta 9 doesn't seem to be working fine with actual .dol files...

HBC v9 doesn't have any issue. The dol are perfect. The elf aren't. The team updated the whole thing so that's it's ok with the current elf specifications; exactly what devkitpro isn't doing, that's why current elf won't work.

I already installed the CIOS by wiigator
I don't use wi-fi, so I used the folders and "offline installation"
I deleted the cios installer from the sd card and its "offline installation files"

NOW

I downloaded the .dol read retry fix file by wiigator

should I put in the apps, AND should I reput the offline files above, or can I simply use the fix file without anything else, remember I don't use wifi?

I bought wwe 2009, and my kid brother scratched it to hell and I have no receipt....
So I really to gamma to play It as a dl`d a backup.
