This will allow you to access the shop channel. From what I've read, Waninkoko is working on a fix for people who have already updated, but if you have not yet done so, don't. The above IOS51 and updated shop channel should suffice for the time being.

The last thing anyone wants is for WiiGator to quit!
If it was leaked, someone take it down, it WiiGator's OK for it to stay there or he told someone to put it there, then I suppose it can stay.
BTW, Is this cIOS the actual backup loader itself, or is the cIOS to work with the backup loader?

It's not the one that will be out with the loader.

Wiigator should come out with a message why he hasn't released backup loader 0.3 yet. It's just that I'm wondering about that, mostly because the reports we're getting from him and the beta-testers are all so good and positive. From those reports I think that the loader is already pretty mature, and can handle most games at high speeds. That's why I'm confused as to why it's not released yet. It could just be that it's still in very active development, and still requires bug-fixing and stuff, but the reports don't really give me that message.

A little status report on what he's busy with now, would be cool.

He edited his initial blog post numerous times to give status updates and important information. I don't see the reasom for him to post something here on the status tbh.

Fair enough, I think I'm just getting the wrong picture, because the status reports are all very generic and I would get a better picture if these reports were more technical, but I guess that's beyond the scope of this community.

Well, I havent really seen him do that, so I'm not sure if he really has.
I kinda agree with kashin. and pure.
I reckon he should add like a new section to his blog. e.g. Status, then people would get an idea how far in progress the backup loader is and/or any problems hes facing making it.
I reckon he shouldnt remove any parts of the status when something new has happened, he could leave all the old status reports there, and put latest status reports on the top nad put the date next to it.
Then people may start to shut up about when it is getting released, because they could see what needs doing and then they can estimate how long that could take.
Again, this is just my idea, I just hope WiiGator reads this and takes it into consideration.
So, its all up to WiiGator if he wants to or not.

By the looks of this new loader the games will run much smoother. I hate the choppy video that is on the 0.1 loader. Can't wait till this new one is out
