DO NOT UPDATE YOUR Wii, if you have cIOS 249 installed, the apps around it, will still work, but if you update, you can not install another cIOS and for the new BUL 0.3 you'll need a new cIOS, so what do you think? Do you still want to update??

Mortal Kombat is having issue even with 0.3 it crashes after selecting controller screen but dont worry that will be fixed before the 0.3 comes out dont worry

I won't count on that one...
WiiGator told us "old games won't work cos of old IOS"
so Zelda and MK are old games... But we will see what our magican can do.

since dvdx is not reqiured, it might be possible to use more than one hacked ios, with the loader choosing the appropriate ios based on the game id.
i'm not sure how difficult it would be to add the dip module to older ioses (since they're not modular afaik), but maybe it could also be added to ios51 for future proof abilities.

it might help to make an in-depth comparison of what may have changed in each ios, if possible.

Hmmm... sounds good though. But as you say, it might be difficult to patch the dip module to older ioses.

I updated with the work around and everything works ok so far... as in the shopping channel and the current BUL .1beta... as for the new one... I guess I will say what's in alot of sigs... by the way...DJTaz told me earlier he put the workaround that's found on Wiibrew (like patchmii) in his signature along with the .zip and latest files released to public... here is sig incase you don't want to hunt him down....

I havent actually updated my own wii as im not home this weekend but others have confirmed it all works fine and i believe a new thread had been released for this update if people only want that.

If your starting from scratch my sig gets you through the whole install as long as you havent updated.

Waninkoko has an unreleased fixer for anyone who has updated and is thinking about releasing it.

the problem about the fixer by waninkoko is that it seems it makes use of the big wild card (i don't know an other word for it) the hb-scene has. if nintendo fixes that one it would be very bad. a release of the app would show big N what they had to patch. there was a post form marcan about it a couple of days ago.
