frostyfrosty is wiiloader.com still up and running? ive never been able to get in there.....
know whats causing this problem?

yes, and has been for a couple of weeks now.
It might be a problem with your isp or maybe a the browser your using.

that november date was a hoax. same as the 23rd of December or the 1st of April 2010.
there was never ever given out a release date from either Wiigator or Waninkoko.

But I wish those two would give us a release date, then all that spreading of disinformation would end.

If you'd like me to post the PM, I will, but I'll have to censor some info...

I got the date from him, or at least his account... and it was well before

EDIT

sorry if it takes a while for me to respond... I have to share my wifes computer till my new motherboard comes in, and I'm downloading WoW 3.0.2... 1.7gig
frown.gif

But I'll post the PM, and emails if needed, with alot of stuff pertaining to the loader censored out

here is an idea, print the screen of the PM so it cant be denied. Edit the picture so this delicate info isnt leaked. Would that be ok.

you don't have to do that , cause wiigator will not like it I guess , and if they believe it that's good , and if they don't even better , it is there choice and you said what you know

I agree with ya. I mean i believe ya an all Zidane. But i think this thread really needs some solid proof from the last couple of days. It would shut the thread up a bit till it comes out, and it would calm everyone down when the news is out. The only way i think that this could be done and be unrefuteable (sp) is to print the screen of the PM and edit the delicate stuff out.

When has a minor info like a (beta) release date become such a mystery where every little hint has to be deleted? could we go back to "normal" again and not delete everything? that's creating a very bad mood here. maybe that's why nobody cares anymore.

I understand that delevopers can get pissed by requests, but it's Homebrew. Don't fool supporters around like Nintendo of Europe always does. Sheesh.

@frostyfrosty: I don't think it's his/her ISP or browser. It's a lame server which can't handle most of the requests. I managed to get der ONCE yesterday, so obviously it's not ISP or browser related...

I will guess the release date is November 15th there's something special about that particular day......
Gaiusto I hope this isnt off topic I must say if were gonna wait till november they should drop patched backups
support and add the gamecube backup support why you may ask?

Well 1st wann made the loader then the code and such got leaked wiigator revamped the whole thing making
it work on all regions and in color the 1st testing base was patched discs now they got it to read the correct
way reading unpatched original iso's at like normal speed this is a step ahead why move backwards makes
no sense I'm not complaining just sayin it's waste of time who wants to continue to patch discs or use buggy
patched discs.... The gamecube backups would make more sense they got the tools and smarts to crack mios
so I say skip the patched mess I dont care if it takes them till january to get it right you complainers are
making wiigator and waninkoko and the beta testers waste time on patched games oh the horror WWWWHHHYYYYY?

This is just my 2 cents but I don't think we should be posting anything that could annoy the developers even if it does seem minor to some it might not to them ( wiigator and waninkoko ) wanin has already been through this once before. At the end of the day who cares if Wiigator told Zidane or not it doesn't really matter I do believe Zidane but I dont think we should ask him to post anything on an open form that he recieved privately!!!!

Why not just wait and see when it is released and then we can get into this. My opinion is that we shouldn't do anything to jeopardize this release in any way at all.

So please everyone be patient and wait till its officially release before we get into a he said/she said scenario!!

Just my thoughts anyway.

but I go on it and never got any problems , maybe you have a dial up or 56k connection ??

20 hops is quite much to begin with, and the reaction times are very high. Somehow I can't get any further. I would say the problem lies in the bad server link-up (connection). And no, I don't have 56K (which also would be more than enough for a site like Wiiloader, btw), I have 16 Mbit.

well if your able to proxy on through, then it sounds like the problem lies on your side.

than it's still a problem on the wiiloader.com side, because users from certain locations can't reach the server. you should call your server host and ask for the reason. you can't expect every user to go through proxys.

Also I'm not the only one with connectivity issues here ^.^

Hi guys,

just wanted to give you some in the field experience with the Backup Launcher v0.3 (not the alpha)

- 90% of 1:1 copies are working
- 85% of patched copies are working (for example Star Wars Force Unleashed 1:1 works but the patched does not)
- not all games that worked with v0.1 are working with v0.3 (for example Raving Rabbits 2 is not anymore working)
- SSBB scrubbed works perfekt
- Wario Land 1:1, Battalion Wars 2 patched, Obscure 2 patched, Super Paper Mario patched, Boogie Superstar 1:1, Smarty Pants patched, Metroid Prime 1:1 and patched, Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility 1:1 NTSC on Pal WII works perfectly
- Mortal Combat 1:1 and patched don't work
- Speed is awesome also with the patched games
- Videos work perfect also with the patched games

so far...

More testing will be done tonight...
