That's what I'm doing.
Change Book Type->Selected brand type->Change for "Current Media"->New setting changed to "DVD-ROM" and clicked Apply.
And then it says

No, I have burnt many games on DVD+R's and they are not booktyped DVDROM and they work, I think this may fix my problem I am having with a game giving me disk read errors randomly.Zeno McDohl said:Just tried another DVD+R (different brand) at 4x, same error. I assume DVD+R's don't work unless set to DVD-ROM, yet I can't set them to DVD-ROM.
Yes DVD+R's work, I have always used them.Brian117 said:Guys, I got a question if I may,
Today I just bought a 5 pack of DVD+R DL discs,
I plan to make a legit backup of my Brawl.
But I got worried because it's +R. Not -R.
So I was wondering, will it still work!? I'm worried. I always use DVD-R's on all my games, but I haven't tried any DVD+R's yet.
Please get back to me.
