PS1/2 Backup games & Free Mc Boot

I don't understand what's wrong...

I patch the ISOs with ESR Disc Patcher GUI v0.24a, burn it as image disk with ImgBurn, and every time I start them with ESR it says that the media is unknown and I can't boot the game...


Can anyone help me? I've tried with two games and they're both not working.

I have Maxell DVD+R

Might be a bad rip of the iso/bad burn.

Try a DVD-r, some PS2 lens have a hard time reading DVD+r.

I retried, but at 8X burn rate instead of 2.4X (I didn't want it too fast) and it worked well.

So yeah, to newbies like me: If you have patched it and it didn't work and the iso is correct, try another writing speed

Well, burning as slow as possible was good like 5 years ago. Now the burner and media are better and you need in fact to burn faster to get good results. As general rule i would say: burn at half of your max speed determined by burner and media and you are fine.
